Can The Way You Dress Affect Your Mental And Physical Health

Can the way you dress affect your health? Some experts say it can. Of course dressing inappropriately for the season can decrease your body's immune system, but that is not the only way your wardrobe could potentially affect your health. Nor is the physical aspect of health the only concern. You have the same make up as every other human being. Your body responds to the same stimuli. If you neglect certain parts of what makes you who you are, you open yourself up to many negative things. Whether you do it consciously or not, the way you dress tells a story about you. It lets people know how you feel mentally as well as physically. If you feel good about yourself from a physical stance, you will tend to wear clothing that showcases confidence and a look at me aura., thereby, helping to keep your immune system healthy. However, if you do not feel good about your physical state, no matter what you put on it will show a sense of using clothes to hide in plain sight of everyone; and that can suppress your immune system.

It goes even further than that. Studies have shown that wearing certain fashions have the ability to change your mood. Dark clothing tends to portray a sad picture. Constantly being around an environment like that can have a negative affect on your mental state and the mind plays a big part in your overall health. This is why hospital rooms are a certain color. Different hues are known to help the body to heal due to the positive state of mind they put you in. There are many bugs out there that wage war against your body to move in and cohabit with your normal system, but when your immune system is healthy, it wards of the attack; sometimes without you even knowing about it. However, if you do things that affect your mental health, it has been proven that you weaken your immune system by your own hands; making it easier for microbes to invade. A melancholy dress style will do more than cause people to perceive you in that manner. It also makes your body react accordingly, too.

Further still, as those you encounter think that you look under the weather and continually asks you if you are feeling bad because you look down, your body will eventually take on the role of being sick. And whether it is a microbial sickness or mentally induced one, they feel the same. Knowing this should encourage you to take more care in how you present yourself when it comes to picking out your wardrobe. You tend to become what you visualize yourself to be. If you constantly surround yourself with attire that depicts a sunny disposition, your attitude is more likely to correspond with that look. The saying birds of a feather flock together is totally true. You should consider your clothes as your feathers. Feathers are not who the bird is, but they grow from the bird and therefore are an important part of what the bird is. Likewise, your clothes are chosen by you and they give an impression of who you are.

So if you want to put forth a healthy persona, it would help to ensure your clothes match your insides or at least match how you want to feel. If your outfits cause people to return looks and stares of negativity, you are the one who bares the brunt of those looks and they do have an effect on you. The more you are bombarded with that, the more it wears away at your overall health. Another way to enhance your overall health with your dress is to step it up a notch and cause onlookers to give you the attention you want by wearing clothing and accessories that put you on a higher level than your peers. Rather than just wear something common in casual or dress, why not push the barriers a little and add some flair to what your have on. Instead of just wearing a shirt, add a light scarf or ascot tie tied around your neck. Rather than choosing the normal tucked in shirt with dress coat and slacks, wear something that has an extended cuff and let your shirt tail hang out under your jacket over a pair of designer jeans. It's sure to get some eyeballs on you accompanied with smiles of admiration. That can only boost your immune system.

Attention to color, style and fashion has the potential to boost your mental and physical health. Consider dressing to help improve your overall well being. Providing quality counselling articles, hynotherapy writings and other mind help resources online.

God's Words in Dreams, How to Be a Hero and Find Peace

Even though you are an absurd human being who lives constantly influenced or controlled by your anti-conscience (your wild, primitive conscience) you must have a wise attitude if you want to find peace.

Even though you are totally indifferent to what may happen to people you don't even know, the truth is that you have the moral obligation to help these people. If you want to find peace, you must eliminate terror on Earth and help all human beings have the chance to live happily.

You are responsible for the entire world; not only for yourself and your family.

However, you are insignificant. You don't have the power to eliminate terror on Earth. You need help.

This is why the divine unconscious mind produces your dreams. All dreams contain precious messages that help you evolve, and save the world with your brilliant example.

You'll learn how to put an end to terror on Earth with your extraordinary personality and your memorable work.

The unconscious mind is God's mind. God demands a lot from you. God is your savior, but He demands perfection from you, even though you are so imperfect and so indifferent to your imperfections.

Since God exists and speaks in dreams, you must learn a few of His words. I have translated numerous dreams for many people, besides my own. I could also continue Carl Jung's research, what means that I can tell you the results of my observations, even if you have never translated one of your dreams according to the scientific method.

Here are a few of God's words in dreams. These are common messages sent to many dreamers:

"Please, help me save humanity from poverty. Please, help me put an end to violence. Please, help me put an end to all horrors. I need your cooperation. I cannot eliminate terror alone.

Please, help me rest instead of having to save human beings from craziness and terror. I'm tired. I cannot bear this hell.

Nobody pays attention to my lessons. Nobody cares about my existence. Nobody respects my laws.

My laws are the laws of goodness and justice. My laws are your moral principals.

You are a big sinner too. I'm afraid you'll never help me because you are too selfish. Nobody helps me the way I need. I feel alone."

This was only an example of what God may tell you in a dream, after saving you from craziness and terror, and giving you sound mental health and wisdom. You'll learn many truths you ignore, and surely feel sorry for your savior.

The divine unconscious mind suffers very much because of the existence of terror on Earth. You have the moral obligation to care about this matter and do something to change this situation.

Now that I already gave you many lessons about the content of the human brain and psyche and how you can find sound mental health through dream translation, I'm showing you other aspects of your reality.

The responsibility you have because you are a human being is more important than what you may possibly imagine. God wants to see you becoming a hero.

You can be a hero and save the world if you'll obey the unconscious wisdom; you'll learn how to be wise yourself. You can be the hero humanity needs because you have this capacity. You are not using the biggest part of your brain because it belongs to your anti-conscience. When you'll transform your anti-conscience into human content you'll use all of the brain power that goes wasted now.

Even if you are ignorant, silly, shy, insecure, and you have numerous psychological problems, the divine unconscious mind can transform you into a strong and self-confident hero who will forever be admired by humanity, with deep gratitude and respect. You only have to be obedient.

God knows what is good or bad. He will give you many lessons in dreams. You must pay attention to His lessons and follow His guidance.

God is your doctor and spiritual guide. You must cooperate with your doctor, so that you may transform your anti-conscience into human content the fastest possible.

The fact that you have to become a wise human being will surely be better for you when you'll attain this goal. However, this will also be better for the world. God needs your example and your work. You have to be a hero and help Him put an end to terror and violence on Earth. God cannot put an end to terror alone, the same way that you cannot find peace alone. You need His help, and He needs your work.

Using Hypnosis And Your Subconscious To Eliminate Stress

Most of us enjoy getting regular massages. Massage does for our body what Hypnosis does for our mind.

When I go, I get a relaxation massage and other times a deep tissue massage.

A few years ago I was getting more deep tissue than relaxation and thought it a bit odd. I was in for a relaxation massage and she kept reverting to beating the shit out of me each time.

There were times when I would swear I was in a boxing ring. From my neck all the way into my legs were lumps and bumps that were squished, squeezed, poked and pushed. Truthfully speaking, at the time the only thing I remember being so freaking painful was childbirth.

To some conservative massage therapists you may think this is unnecessary or quite frankly inhumane. And let me elaborate, I am NOT exaggerating!

I left with more pain than I went in with. In fact on numerous occasions I had bruising the next day!

The woman giving me a massage was a friend of mine, and top in her field. She taught me more about my body than I ever learned in my years so far.

As I lay near dead on her table, it occurred to me all the stressors I have allowed in to create this much havoc on my body. A small portion related to physical activity but the rest was all created in my mind.

I was going through some difficulties and allowed my mind to overtake. I internalized everything, was angry and wouldn't let it go.

And this is what I endured to get rid of what I, alone, had created.

Stress is often overlooked as normal and some stress is. Stress is created based on our thoughts about things. Like anything else we can choose our thoughts about the things in our life or we can allow them to overcome us and create disastrous side effects.

While I was laying on, what felt by now like a slab for a corpse, the table, I got real serious about this. Here I am, working hard, giving my all, all in the name of helping others, and myself and I in fact was causing more damage.

In one hand comes my paycheck in the other it goes to someone to knock the self abuse out. Isn't that was stress is? Self abuse? Think about it. My thoughts created all this misery inside my body. I was becoming low functioning because of all the tension and tightness. Then, I go out and do it all over again.

Why would anyone in their right mind do this? Why, when we can choose to see things in any light we want, make our thoughts so incredibly vile and hateful?

Think about this the next time you have these thoughts about yourself or of anything else. It ties your body up in knots and you WILL pay for it.

With negative thoughts, you bring about what you think about. Not only was I in incredible pain, my life on the outside was showing no signs of calm either.

This is the point I asked myself "Is it worth it"?

If you are finding 'changing' your thinking habits too difficult this is where hypnosis comes in. In a very short time, by accessing your subconscious mind, that mind that drives your behaviours, you will not only be able to change your thinking but all the negative things that your thinking has created.

It's worth it in the long run.

How to Protect Yourself From Common Age-Related Health Concerns

Why do we fear old age so much? A Swedish sociologist Lars Tornstam describes this by asking what a 10 year old would say if we asked him what it would be like to be 20. It would be awful to him. There would be no play time. There would be no summer vacation. He would have to get a job! But at twenty he would look back at the age of 10 and say: "There's no way I'd want to be 10 anymore. I have so much more freedom now. I'm making money. I can do whatever I want." But what if you asked him what it would be like to be 40? "It would be awful. I'd be stuck in the rut of a job. I'd be stuck with a wife and kids." And so on. But the end of Dr. Tornstam's analogy is our concept of old age. For some reason our culture fears old age. In general we fear becoming elderly. Our concept of old age is associated with a lack of contentment with life.

Why is this? Why do we despise grey hair and wrinkles? Why do we fear those "golden years"? Why do we scramble to embrace the concept of youth? Why are we so quick to be associated with that insecurity and inexperience and foolishness of youth? How insecure, inexperienced and foolish of us! What do we think we will lose with old age? Is it the excitement of a new experience, or the opportunity of new tests and challenges? Is it the virility of sexual experiences?

It was a typical clinic day. I was seeing patients with diabetes and hypertension, colds, and a recent broken bone. The next patient on my schedule was Carl Fisk. I had never seen him before. He was scheduled to be in my clinic because his regular doctor was gone that day. The reason he was here was for a medication refill. I looked through his chart and found that he was 82 years old and about 3 years ago his wife of 51 years had died of breast cancer. "Oh no" I thought. "This is going to be a totally depressing visit". I had thoughts that his visit would be filled with discussions about depression and sadness. With this I took a deep breath and entered the room.

Mr. Fisk sat in the corner of the room reading a magazine. He had shiny grey hair and a bright smile. As I walked in he stood up to shake my hand. He wore circular glasses that shined in the light of the clinic room. He was well dressed with khaki pants and a tucked in, blue plaid shirt. I introduced myself, "so what brings you here today?" I asked, prepared for an onset of tears and a possible discussion of antidepressant medications.

"Well doctor", he began, with more energy than I had expected. Mr. Fisk had a strange smile on his face. Like a 10 year old who just got into a jar of cookies. "The last doctor I saw gave me a prescription for Viagra, and I wanted to see if I could get a refill."

Caught off guard I stammered and looked through his chart. He was in the clinic only 2 weeks ago and had a prescription for 10 Viagra pills. Did he use them up already? After regrouping, I continued on. In his chart there were no contraindications for him to take Viagra, and he had no adverse side effects. There was no reason he couldn't continue taking this medication. As I was writing his script (for twice the supply and refills), he said a peculiar thing. "You know doctor," he began. "People think that as you get older, you can't have sex anymore, but I haven't been this sexually satisfied in years."

We shook hands as he left and I moved on to my next patient. But I couldn't stop thinking about how happy he was. My initial notion was that he would be a sad lonely old man. But he was the exact opposite.

Over the next few months, I saw Mr. Fisk a few more times. Each time he was as friendly and happy as the time before. We began to get to know each other better. He had a new girlfriend, and was busy spending time with her and his daily golfing games. At the time, I was doing a Geriatrics Fellowship and it was exciting for me to find an elder so excited about life. We talked about this for a while, and he invited me over to his apartment to see for myself. I decided to take him up on the offer. After working around his busy schedule of golf, dating, and volunteer activities, we agreed to meet on a Saturday afternoon.

Mr. Fisk lived in a retirement community with a combination of houses and apartments, surrounded by wooded trees and the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. His apartment was on the first floor in the center of the community. He answered the door with the same smile he always had, and invited me in. Mr. Fisk was a humble man. His apartment was Spartan in its decoration. As I entered, the kitchen was on the right, and the living room on the left. There were only a few pieces of furniture in the living room. A comfortable old green couch and a soft matching arm chair opposite it. There was no television in the room. There was just an old stereo with a record player. Mr. Fisk invited me to sit down on his couch and he sat in the arm chair. I started by asking him how his girlfriend was. His smile immediately broadened and his eyes beamed. "Oh, you mean my sweetheart!" he suggested, "well, we just got engaged! You have to see a picture of her!" Mr. Fisk jumped to his feet and ran to another room. He returned with a 4x6 framed picture of himself standing next to a lady with his right arm wrapped around her shoulder. She looked about his age. They were both smiling broadly. Her name was Janet. As we continued our conversation, he could not stop talking about his "sweetheart". It was as if he were a teenager smitten by love. Even when the subjects of our conversation would change he would find something about his new fiancé to bring up in the conversation.

During the afternoon, we talked about other aspects of his life. He was a retired pastor, he played golf almost every day with a group of friends. He volunteered in the community at a Nursing Home. His previous marriage had been wonderful. He had three children who were spread all around the country, but he was still very close to them. I left his apartment that afternoon with a sense that his days were busier, and fuller than mine seemed to be.

Since that day, Mr. Fisk married Janet. His children, came from all over to be at the wedding and he had a honeymoon at a beach in South Carolina.

Carl Fisk is extremely happy with life. He is content, and the opposite of what we think old age has in store for us. We fear the onset of old age as if it is the first nail of our coffin. But with old age we don't have to lose our ability to enjoy sex, we don't lose the excitement to fall in love again. When we are older and full of experiences, by stepping back and looking at our life, we only change the paradigm of what happiness is. Maybe that is what we don't realize when we fear old age.

Your Ultimate Guide To Reiki

Reiki is a technique developed by a Buddhist monk in 1922. It is widely accepted as a method for therapy, stress reduction, relaxation and some professionals even consider it to be a form of medicine.

How Does It Work?

Reiki is based on the concept of an unseen energy force constantly flowing through and around us that actually causes us to be alive. If we have a high amount of this energy force, we will become healthy and happy. On the other hand, a low amount of this life force energy is considered to actually cause sickness, depression and general unhappiness.

Practitioners believe that reiki works through transferring this universal energy through the palms in their hands. Effectively, they are channeling this positive energy through their hands and onto the person.

This technique is actually surprisingly simple to teach. A student could simply attend a class with a master known as an "attunement". During this class, the master would pass the ability to access an unlimited amount of life force onto the student. In theory, this would then grant access to happiness and general wellbeing.

Types Of Reiki

There are roughly 25 different types of reiki, the following are the most widely used and important.

Karuna- The effect of Karuna can actually be transferred through chanting and is often used to help overcome addictions.

Usui- This was named after the founder of reiki, Mikao Usai. This was the first type of Reiki, the rest have branched from this.

Tibetan- Using many of the techniques used in Usai reiki, it is considered to be a very powerful Tibeten method for attunement.

Rainbow- This works by using the 7 main chakras within your body.to help repair the physical and mental aspects.

Gendai- Gendai can be translated into modern. The creator brought a strong Buddhist aspect to the original teachings.

Practitioners of reiki believe the only reason we are alive is due to the life force flowing inside us. They believe that it is flowing through us via the pathways known as nadis, meridians and chakras, as well as an aura surrounding us. This life force is used to feed out organs and major cells inside our bodies. If there is a lack of life force flowing to these areas, this is when we will experience bad health. They use reiki during these circumstances, in order to increase the levels of positive life force and increase happiness and health as a result.

If you feel that you would like to learn more about Reiki or would like to experience it for yourself to see if it works, then pop on over to Christi Reiki Master. How to Protect Yourself From Unknown Dangers

Even though today our world gives more importance to science, believing that it is the only discipline that can really show us the truth about our reality, the importance of art, religion, and philosophy cannot be disregarded if we want to have a global vision of our reality.

The divine unconscious mind shows you in your dreams the future development of your reality, so that you may understand how to achieve your goals based on the truth, and not based on your imagination. You learn how to be a serious scientist and a devoted artist who keeps looking for perfection in your work.

You stop being a narrow-minded and one-sided creature who makes many mistakes without understanding the meaning of your actions. After having a global vision of your reality you'll understand how to behave in order to achieve success in life.

You'll become sensitive. You'll pay attention to all the details that compose your reality.

Your dreams will help you understand why you behave the way you do, and how you can always control your behavior in all circumstances, even if you'll be exposed to many dangers and face very difficult situations. Your dreams will also help you avoid all dangers. The divine unconscious mind is your natural protector.

Your dreams will show you unknown dangers that you cannot see, and ways to protect yourself that you cannot find alone. Your dreams will give you many explanations about all matters.

You'll verify that your reality is complex and you must always try to have a global vision about your reality, and never concentrate your attention only on the interesting points for you. This global vision will help you understand the real importance of your actions.

You will find protection from all dangers if you'll be a good student and patient and obey the divine guidance in dreams. The unconscious mind helps you become a prudent person. You learn how to prepare the necessary conditions for your permanent protection from all dangers.

You'll verify that everything that happens to you depends on your attitude. This means that your wise attitude always protects you from outside dangers. The outside dangers cannot cause you any damage if you know how to protect yourself from what is bad.

The unconscious mind gives you clear lessons in dreams. You only have to be an obedient student and patient in order to triumph over life's challenges. You'll acquire sound mental health that lasts forever and attain spiritual perfection.

Ignore Your Prophetic Dream At Your Own Risk

Premonitions, prophecies and precognition all refer to an experience, (dreams, waking thoughts, visions, etc.), which anticipate a future event that can't reasonably be gathered from information available by usual means prior to the event. These prophecies (or premonitions or precognitions) come to us most often through our dreams and are no more paranormal than are dreams themselves.

Since ancient times the belief that dreams are either warnings or prophecies has been very common. The Talmud, the Hebrew sacred book of practical wisdom, reveals that the Jews gave great importance both to the dream and the interpreter of dreams. There are at least fifteen references to dreams and prophecies in the King James Bible, and this idea has also been supported by non-religious texts, by oral traditions and in books such as the Artemidorus Oneirocritica written around 140 AD.

There are a number of recorded instances wherein prominent individuals have had prophetic dreams that have impacted history in one way or another. In some cases, like with Abraham Lincoln, the dream was ignored with dire consequences, while others were more cautious and heeded the nocturnal message.

About two weeks before John Wilkes Booth fired the fatal bullet that struck Abraham Lincoln in Ford's Theatre, Lincoln dreamt the details of his own funeral. In his dream, he entered the East Room of the White House where he saw a coffin lying on a platform. Soldiers, acting as guards, were stationed around it where a crowd of mourners were gathered. When Lincoln demanded to know who is dead in the White House, the soldier replied, the President. He was killed by an assassin. After Lincoln's assassination, his casket was placed on a platform in the East Room of the White House where it was guarded by soldiers.

One of the most dramatic examples of prophetic dreams, and dreams that would have had the power to change the world if only they had been taken seriously and acted upon, was a dream recorded on the morning of June 28, 1914, by Bishop Joseph Lanyi of Grosswardein, in Hungary. The bishop dreamt the entire scene and details of the assassination of Franz Ferdinand and his wife. This dream is of considerable historical significance because the assassination of Archduke Ferdinand set off World War I.

In 1959, Rita Dwyer was working for an aerospace company as a research chemist when an experimental rocket fuel exploded in her lab. She was instantly engulfed in flames and would have died if it weren't for the fact that a co-worker had had recurring dreams of the event and knew exactly what to do to save her life.

When the fuel exploded in Rita's laboratory in waking life, step by step, her co-worker re-enacted his dream. Heroically, he ran into the blazing laboratory, grabbed Rita by the only part of her body not on fire -her foot- and dragged her to safety. She's alive today only because her co-worker and friend remembered and took his dream seriously -and then acted on the information it contained. Had he dismissed the dreams, like so many do, his friend would not have survived.

Robert Van de Castle reported this heart breaking account in his book, Our Dreaming Mind: In October, 1966, in the Welsh mining village of Aberfan, a massive coal-tip slid down a mountainside killing 144 people, mostly school children. A young girl, Eryl Mai Jones, told her mother about a dream she'd had where she does to school but there's no school there. "Something black has come down all over it." "I'm not afraid to die," She told her mother, "I'll be with Peter and June." When the huge slag deposit slid down on the school two days later, Eryl Mai, Peter, and June were among the 118 children crushed or buried alive.

In 1999 a then, sixteen year old girl, woke up from a dream one morning terrified. In her dream she had hit and killed a young boy while driving her car on a back road. The dream so disturbed her that she related it to her mother, who, as do most people, dismissed it as just a dream. A few days later, the girl was driving down a quiet rural road when she had a nagging feeling that she should put her seatbelt on and slow down. She ignored her intuition. However, only moments later a voice told her to put on her seat belt and watch her speed. The voice was so loud and so strong that she buckled her seatbelt and kept an eye on the speedometer.

Before she knew what had happened, she saw a tuft of brown hair in front of her car. Horrified, she watched and heard a seven year old boy roll across the hood of her car, fly over the roof and land on the asphalt behind her. She stayed with the child as he died. After thirteen years, the young lady, who now has a son of her own is suffering from PTSD and is terrified to let her child out of her site.

Had she taken the dream seriously, or heeded its warning, she may have made different choices. Perhaps she wouldn't have driven down that particular road. Maybe she would have been more diligent and alert while driving. Or perhaps she might have asked someone else to do the driving for a while.

One dreamer had a recurring dream every night for a week. In the dream her mother, who was deceased, paid a visit and told her that she would not see her brother and sister-in-law again and that they would not be "here long." The dream was very disquieting and she wanted to warn her brother but her husband told her not to be so 'silly.' Two days after the last dream she picked up the local newspaper and on the front page were her brother and sister-in-law. They had been killed flying to Spain. The dreamer had had no idea they had even gone on holiday.

Although prophetic dreams can address anything from what you're going to wear to work next Wednesday to a devastating earthquake, they're generally classified into specific types or categories:

Apparitions: These are dreams wherein the dead appear in order to deliver an important message.

Clairaudient Dreams: These types of dreams involve hearing voices or sounds that are extremely distinct and clear. The voice seems to come from nowhere. You usually don't know the source of the voice or sounds. It's imperative that you pay attention to the message in this kind of dream.

Clairvoyant Dreams: These are dreams where you're dreaming of something that's happening in waking life at the same time as the dream.

Empathic Dreams: In these types of dreams you're generally moved by an event in the dream but aren't sure why. You experience clear and sympathetic feelings and sensations. You "feel" something is going to happen.

Telepathic Dreams: You're able to connect to someone else's thoughts through a dream. These dreams usually occur between close individuals.

Warning Dreams: As the description suggests, these dreams forewarn of impending danger, disaster or death. These types of dreams often give you the opportunity to alter the outcome.

In ancient Egypt several papyri have been discovered which relate to prophetic dream interpretation. They specifically note the appearance of 'opposites' in dreams. Thus, the suggestion is that to dream of a birth could refer to an imminent death. To dream of winning the lottery could signify a financial loss, etc.

In an ancient Indian book of wisdom, the Artharva Veda, dating from about 3000 years ago, it's stated that the time of night that the prophetic dream occurs gives a clue as to when the dream event will transpire. A dream occurring early in the night, for example, will be realized later than one occurring near dawn.

Psi researchers have discovered that prophetic dream information often comes to us in the form of some kind of publication such as a TV or radio announcement, broadcast or news flash, in a newspaper, email, or nowadays, a text message, etc.

There will always be exceptions to the rules, but generally, I've found that most people report prophetic or precognitive dreams as being very sharp and clear. In fact, it's often reported that the dreamer seems to be in the dream rather than just watching it. Colours are usually reported as being enhanced, crisp or bright. Sounds tend to be exceptionally clear and loud and the overall dream is often reported as being hard to distinguish from waking reality.

The best way to identify that you're having prophetic dreams at all, and the most effective method for recognizing the elements of a precognitive dream is, as I've said many times before, to keep a dream journal. As you start recording and re-reading your prophetic dreams you'll notice which elements are or aren't present in them. By doing this, you'll also encourage more prophetic dreams.

It's sad that in modern Western societies, we have fallen into the habit of speaking of dreams as "only" dreams, as something less than real. The materialists of the Victorian era dismissed dreams as uncivilized yearnings and repressed desires never to be discussed in polite society. The reductionist scientists of our era try to convince us that dreams are merely the product of random neuronal firings or the brain's way of cleaning out unneeded and unnecessary information picked up throughout the day. When I read research reports along these lines, I wonder how much time the authors have spent with their own dream journals.

More often than not, it takes something shocking or unbelievable to shake us out of our comfort zone and our entrenched belief systems. Many, many people refuse to accept that dreams are even "real," let alone able to change our lives. Thousands of years of data have proved that they are. However, no amount of evidence, or anecdotes, or reports will ever change a hard-nosed skeptic's mind. It takes a experience to alter concepts and beliefs, and this goes for dreams as well.

I believe that the majority of us have the ability to become practicing prophetic dreamers. We're all capable of receiving life changing information and assistance from our dreams for ourselves as well as for other. However, we must be willing to set aside self-limiting beliefs and practice.

The Benefits Of Lucid Dreams

A lucid dream (LD) is a dream in which you're aware that you're dreaming while the dream's in progress. During lucid dreams, it's usually possible (and desirable) to exercise conscious control over the dream's content -characters, plot and environment- as well as to perform seemingly impossible acts.

Like dreaming in general, there's no scientific explanation for the purpose of lucid dreaming. However, non-scientifically, there are many. First, and most importantly as far as I'm concerned, it's fun and it's enlightening. Secondly, you can do anything you can think of without putting yourself in danger, without physical limitations and without restrictions; you can go anywhere without spending a dime on travel agents, tickets, event planners; or you can talk to anyone, anywhere at any time.

Therapeutically, lucid dreaming is a great tool for working on psychological problems. If you suffer from a fear of snakes, for example, that fear can be conquered through lucid dreaming. Because you know you're totally safe, you can gradually deal with being around small snakes in the distance. Then, as your fear lessens, you gradually allow them to get closer and get bigger. This type of dream scenario where the size increases and the distance decreases continue until you're actually holding a dream snake without experiencing any fear or anxiety whatsoever.

LDs can aid you in learning a new skill or improving an old one. If you want to improve your golf swing, practicing it in a dream will transfer to the waking course. Want to get over that fear of public speaking? Repeatedly and consciously create a scenario where this skill is needed and you'll be amazed to discover that your fear diminishes.

Experiments have demonstrated that lucid dreaming can be extremely powerful for motor skill enhancement. Because of the physiological nature of REM, and the neuronal signals sent to muscles during this phase of sleep, LDs are ideal for establishing neural patterns and muscle memory without any actual physical movement. Studies have indeed shown that a dreamer can improve physical strength without actual physical movement with mental practice and imagery.

Lucid dreams can be used for healing in a number of ways. If you're struggling with any kind of illness you can utilize them to determine the cause, the treatment and possibly even the cure. My own experience in this area may be helpful. I suffered with a terrible pain in my lower left abdominal area for a couple of years. I went to several doctors and they told me they couldn't find anything wrong. Finally, I decided to take matters into my own hands. I had a conscious (or lucid) dream where I explored my own internal body. I found a huge (looked huge in the dream) cyst at the top of a long tube. When I awoke, I realized I had a cyst on my ovary. After getting an appointment with an OBGYN, I was scheduled for immediate surgery.

Entertainment and education can also be experienced and explored through lucid dreams. Forget spending hundreds on a game console, you can play your own live action RPG. Digital not your forte? You can meet the author of your favourite book and ask questions, gain clarification or just shoot the breeze. And, of course, lucid dreaming is the ultimate 3D movie experience. You don't need an expensive big screen TV, or even cable. And you won't have to worry about copyright infringement.

Problem solving is probably one of the most beneficial uses. You can dream up the solution to the most complex and difficult problems plaguing you, your family or all of humanity. Through lucid dreaming you can see the issue from all angles at the same time, at different times and even from different perspectives. With this much information at your disposal, you'll have that problem solved in the blink of an eye.

With lucid dreaming you have full conscious control over the dream, thus, you can use that control to travel in time. Without time-space boundaries you can explore the past and the future. You can even experience precognitive dreaming (seeing future events). And without the limitations of space you can use lucid dreams to leave your body and explore the universe and all the levels, dimensions, beings and everything else it holds.

They can be your own private social network. It's possible to share a dream with a loved one, a friend or even a group of friends. With a little planning and practice, you can hang out with friends and family whenever, wherever and however you want. You don't need an internet connection, you have your own wifi.

People who suffer from nightmares can benefit immensely from the ability to become lucid in their dreams. A number of studies have demonstrated that lucid dreaming was successful in reducing nightmare frequency and intensity. The ability to control the dream content enables a dreamer to confront and weaken the power the nightmare and/or waking life fear holds.

All dreams contain some level of awareness, and all dreams involve the dreamer's actions, reactions and responses. These types of dreams simply provide us with another avenue by which to explore our human and conscious potential, and provide us with an additional means of exploring other dimensions of dreams, mind and reality. If you find that you are not a lucid dreamer, fear not. Your nonlucid dreams will provide you with all the insight, information, exploration and excitement you need.

Varieties of Crystal Experience

Quartz crystals are found all around the world. Like snowflakes, each one is unique, but unlike snowflakes they vary widely in size and color too. The country of origin can sometimes tell us about what to expect and there are categories, based on size, shape and color to help identify a particular type of crystal as well.

The most common natural shapes are;

Clusters.

Clusters are formations of crystals usually merged together at the base and showing more individual definition arising from there.

Single Terminal

Single terminal are crystals with only one side ending in a naturally occurring faceted point.

Double Terminated

As you would expect these crystals have both ends that are naturally occurring faceted points.

Geode

A geode is a rock formation in which crystals formed freely in an opening in surrounding rock and now line the cavity.

Those are some of the natural forms that come out of the Earth. For centuries artisans and sculptures, jewelers and gemstone cutters have used those as raw materials to create beautiful pieces for us to wear as jewelry or attractive objects for us to admire.

While the different categories of shapes and formations have different effects on our eye and on our vibration, the literature on the healing and metaphysical qualities of the different types and colors of stones is fairly extensive. What follows is a short list of some of those types and their subtle characteristics.

Clear quartz is colorless and transparent and is associated with white light. Just as white light contains all the colors, so too is clear quartz a universal healer.

Snow quartz is milky and white and very common. It supports growth and cooperation.

Rose quartz can range from a very pale pink to almost red. This type of stone has a peaceful energy and is said to be able to bring love and deep healing.

Smokey quartz is found in various shades of gray and has a grounding quality that can neutralize negative energy.

Citrine is yellow in appearance. It is a crystal that is said to stimulate life energy and bring abundance.

Amethyst appears in varying purple hues and is said to help break through blocks and help overcome addictive behaviors.

There are many books about the healing powers of crystals and much more information is available if you are curious about this aspect. There are also many other types of quartz crystals in endless variety of shapes and sizes.

Engineers and material scientists also work with quartz crystal, usually synthetically grown to precise specifications. Electronics professionals use this high-tech quartz to help create the magic of today's digital technology.

So you already are carrying around a crystal in your cell phone and decorating your home with one in your laptop. These crystals are very small and very young and out of sight. I invite you to consider adding some larger crystals to your portfolio. Ones that were formed by nature over a million years ago! Their beauty and magic will enhance your world...

So What Good Is Reverse Osmosis?

It's well-known that people are mainly made up of water. With out drinking water our blood would not be in a position to flow and our bodies wouldn't be capable of getting rid of waste materials and we would actually end up poisoning ourselves. The important thing to keep in mind is that it is that you need to drink clean water. You do not want to introduce a range of impurities that could be hazardous to your health in an attempt to get water into your body as this will make you dehydrate even more! This is where things such as reverse osmosis come in handy.

Reverse osmosis is really a process that is used in the purification of water. It's used to get as many heavy particles out of the water as possible. Osmosis is a process by which water moves from a higher concentration of water molecules to a lower concentration of water molecules until the system is in balance. Reverse osmosis is the precise opposite, therefore the term "reverse".

A system which makes usage of reverse osmosis to cleanse water will use pressure on the side of the lower concentration of water molecules to force the water molecules to escape via a semi-permeable membrane layer to a higher concentration of water molecules. This then separates the water from the harmful particles that you do not want in the water as the membrane layer doesn't allow them through.

This is not the actual be all and end all of water purification though. Reverse osmosis can only do so much as only a specific amount of pressure could be withstood by the membranes employed in the process. It will do a very good job though.

This procedure is usually used to remove contaminants such as salt and other heavy metals from the water that is being purified. Some heavy metals are harmful to our bodies if taken in sufficient amounts and so need to be removed from the water. It does not work against contaminants that are smaller than the water molecules though so things like germs and pesticides may still be in the water after is has passed through this sort of process. That is why a water refinement plant is such a sizable and intricate beast. The purpose of it all is to produce drinking water that's as pure as possible.

It's not possible for mankind to produce water as pure as that which flows from the source of a glacial spring, however we are able to d a pretty good job with all the technologies as well as science at our fingertips. It's a good idea to check on the purity of water in a foreign country before you drink from the faucets there although, just in case there are things in there that your body does not understand how to handle and may make your stomach upset. If you are not certain then its usually safer to consume water in bottles that has been through a more stringent purification process compared to water in the taps.

How to Live an Olympic Life: Gold, Silver, Bronze

Have you been watching the Olympics? Are you impressed with the skill, style, determination, stamina, endurance, grace, and aesthetics of the athletes doing what they do best? If you're like millions of people across the world during these weeks, you are.

Seeing various Olympic events gets me thinking about how these athletes are in many ways nothing like you and me, because they are extraordinary. The number of people in the whole world who can do what they do - and do it that well - are few. It's fun to see how "super-human" mere humans can be.

Yet, are they that different from us? Not to take away anything from their unique skills and abilities, which they earned over years of training and sacrifice, but in a way, we can all learn to lead "Olympic" lives. What do I mean by this?

The Olympics are important to us, as viewers, because they represent many positive qualities about the world we live in: peoples from so many different countries, gathering in peace and competing in fair competitions with an elaborate set of agreed-upon rules. They represent what happens when everything (well, almost everything) goes right with the human body. The games show us what we are capable of - in theory - by being human. And part of the competition is to be judged on the demonstration of those efforts, earning the Gold (the ultimate), Silver (excellent), or the Bronze (great), and even just to see participants (even non-medal-winners), who qualified enough to compete (still admirable, even extraordinary).

If we use the Olympic games as a metaphor for Life, how are you doing? Your chosen "sport" is really your chosen life - domestically/personally, and professionally. How are you doing? Gold? Silver? Bronze? Participating? Or are you even qualifiying for your chosen "event"?

In life, we don't have Olympic judges scoring us. But we do have ourselves judging us, by our own subjective evaluation of how life is going. What does it take to win the Gold? I think therapy is a lot like the coaches the Olympic athletes have. Sure, the athletes, at the end of the day, are the ones doing the actual performance (kind of like a therapy client), but they probably wouldn't perform as well without their coach to evoke, inspire, guide, refine, troubleshoot, and discover the performance within them. The athletes achieve more with a good coach than they could achieve without one. It's hard to "win gold" all the time in life, but there are moments when we do, and we savor the feelings associated with these moments, and store those feelings in our memory as the "high points" of our lives.

Some people achieve a lot of Gold; we see them all the time: the top-performers at work; the super-parents who seem to do it all; the school colleagues who are beautiful, talented, rich, kind, socially active, and never seem to get tired; the people at the gym who seem to do everything well and look great doing it; the neighbors who seem to just "have it together" and make it all look so easy.

There is also a lot of Silver we see - people who do well, but maybe not everything goes right, all of the time. They're not perfect, but they don't have to be. They achieve a lot, just not the most. But they seem to master things more often than not.

When we see Bronze, we're seeing people with lives who are getting most things right - but maybe certain flaws get in the way of full achievement. The actress who wins awards, but gets in trouble with her alcohol abuse. The politician who does great things for many people, but gets caught in a scandalous lie. The businessperson who builds great wealth - but they did it through some kind of exploitation. They would be great, except for, well, something that prevents greatness.

Then there are people who don't win medals, but they participate handsomely in life. They don't stand out, but only a few of us can really stand out at any one time - that's what "standing out" is. Most of us might fit in this category, and that's OK. They just do their "sport", day after day, and enjoy the playing - even if major glory and recognition never find them.

And there are those who don't even qualify to play the Life Game: criminals, people who don't even try, people who are too busy interrupting and undermining others' dreams to ever really achieve their own. We've all seen, or known, these types. Losers. Busybodies. Haters. Freeloaders. Exploiters. Douchebags. You don't want to be "that guy" (or girl).

What's keeping us down? What kind of "score deductions" are keeping us from "medaling" at Life? Do we need more dedication? More practice? More self-confidence? More skills-training? More 'luck' (which is when Preparation meets Opportunity)? Less resistance from others? More support from others? More attention paid to detail? More strength and effort from us? A better track to run on, pool to swim in, or equipment to work on (our environment)? We can't raise our scores to go for Gold unless we know what the score deductions are for. These are the items that therapy can address, and does, with many, often.

We don't have to medal at Life. We can just participate - besides, after all the Olympic athletes wear their medals and stand at attention as their national anthem is played, what do they do? In many cases, they go right back out and run on the track, or swim in the pool, or workout on the equipment. They go back to doing what they love. Winning the medal is nice, but getting there is way more than half the fun, before and after. And for all Olympians, eventually, they need to master more than one "game", if for no other reason than age and physicality change over time.

So if you're not medaling at Life, maybe you need a different game to choose. Maybe you need to troubleshoot your performance with someone you trust, and consider getting coaching/therapy to get better at it. Life is not a competition, except with yourself. You're not being judged, except by your own conscience and your own standards of what works for YOU, now.

Maybe, after the torch is extinguished, it's not whether you win or lose - it's how you played the game. For most of us, that's the Gold right there.

Overcoming The Original Sin and Finding Safe Guidance

Psychologists and life coaches believe that all answers are in each individual. They help all individuals draw out the answers that already are inside them. They don't tell anyone what to do. They simply ask everyone several questions to help them draw the answers they need.

Do you believe you already know the solutions to your problems?

Do you believe you should trust professionals who tell you that you must be the one who will find the answers you need?

They simply ask you your opinion about how could possibly solve your problems. They don't help you find solutions. They are afraid to tell you what to do because they don't know what is good or bad, and they ignore numerous details about your case.

The guidance you must follow is the guidance given by the wise unconscious mind in your own dreams. The unconscious mind has a divine origin and knows everything about you and your life.

I found sound mental health and I learned how to put an end to all mental illnesses thanks to my obedience to the unconscious guidance in dreams. My obedience puts an end to the original sin proving to the world that we must trust the divine guidance.

The original sin is an innate tendency to evil in the human race, which is transmitted from Adam to the race in consequence of his sin. The original sin represents the disobedience of the human being to God's guidance.

Adam disobeyed God's warning and ate the prohibited fruit, which was given to him by Eve, who disobeyed God's warning before him because of the snake's suggestion.

The snake in dreams represents a bad event that will put an end to a serious mistake. After disobeying God's guidance, human beings were punished by having to abandon the Garden of Eden, which was like a paradise.

Human beings had to suffer in order to purify their spirits because they were disobedient. They couldn't learn how to become wise without suffering.

After discovering the sanctity of the unconscious mind, and after discovering the existence of our wild conscience, I managed to prove that we must obey God's guidance without doubting His wisdom. We are ignorant and absurd, while the divine guidance cures mental illnesses and physical diseases.

We must fight our inner tendency to evil. We necessarily need God's guidance in order to find health, love, peace, and happiness. Alone we can only find terror and despair. This is why our world is a living hell.

Everyone in our world is a selfish hypocrite. Even those who supposedly represent God on Earth disobey God's guidance. They try to adapt this guidance to the concepts of the absurd modern civilization.

If you want to escape the tragic destiny of those who are victims of their wild nature, you should follow the wise guidance of the unconscious mind in your dreams. The unconscious mind tells you what to do, but without directly giving you the answers you need.

You have to look for these answers by following the unconscious clues in your dreams. This way, the unconscious mind helps you develop your intelligence. You learn how to discover the solutions you need by yourself, without depending on your guide. You are independent researcher. However, you are helped in many ways.

You don't waste your time looking for solutions in a desert. The unconscious mind helps you directly find the right path.

Other times, the unconscious mind tells you what you must avoid by sending you a clear warning. You have to always obey the guidance you have, even when you disagree with this guidance because you are ignorant, lazy, and selfish. Don't eat a prohibited fruit if you'll have this warning in a dream.

How Subliminal Messages Works

Since Ancient Greece, researchers theorised about the existence of subliminal perception. After being the willing hijack victim of Science Fiction, subliminal perception remains very misunderstood. The internet is awash with strange misinformation from seemingly authoritative sources.

During the late 1980s, a lot of clinical research was produced that showed subliminal messaging to be a potential treatment of anxiety related conditions and an effective self-help tool for enhancing natural aptitude.

Unlike Western chemical medicines, researchers could not demonstrate how subliminal messages work. It was only when the subliminal messages were observed in action using MRI technology that a full and credible argument could be made (Kouider, Dehaene, Jobert & Le Bihan, 2007).

Research had demonstrated how subliminal messages are unconsciously received and processed as words within the brain (Malik, Krasney, Aldworth & Ladd, 1996). Research shifted from proving the reality of subliminal perception to seeking methods to enhance its effectiveness.

So how does subliminal messaging work? Let us explore the process using the example of weight loss programming. Here, subliminal messages are designed to change an individual's relationship with food and alter the emotional triggers of excessive calorie intake.

These are disguised to the listener's conscious mind, through either video and/or audio manipulation. The reason for this is to bypass the conscious mind. The conscious mind, to be useful to man, is very critical and inflexible. It enjoys being right and thinking through things rationally and logically.

If it were told "Hey you're healthy now," it will draw on evidence to support or refute the assertion. It may well reply, "You can't just say that. I always eat too much Pizza. Hey, you don't even know me!"

The unconscious mind in contrast is capable of a far broader perception - it sees and hears far more information. It need not be selective of the information it receives as it can process a lot more of it per second. By exploiting loopholes in conscious perception, affirmations are not decoded consciously but freely enter the ever welcoming unconscious mind unhindered. Through repetition, the unconscious mind begins to accept the affirmations and explore new decision sets and new ways of thinking. The unconscious mind draws upon its lateral thinking, flexibility and creativity to interpret the information it is presented with.

But it is here where the misinformation creeps in. Subliminal perception does not trigger a magical process whereby an individual can listen to the programming then automatically shed the pounds. Cognition, like voyages of discovery and home cooking cannot be outsourced. In truth, subliminal perception only refers to the one way communication of information.

Information received through subliminal perception is no more in control of behaviour, than the unconscious world of dreams. The decisions which lead to life changes remain firmly in the territory of the conscious mind and are part of the normal decision making process.

So if subliminal messages do not control behaviour - what's going on? Understanding what is going on requires a little more subtlety. Subliminal programming such as those produced by Subliminal Today are aimed at alter decision sets and reinforcing through affirmation, specific aspects of self-perception.

In order to achieve this, NLP is used to crystallise a complete and meaningful idea by addressing a cluster of related concepts. In our weight loss example, these may be healthy living, natural food, longevity, benefits of feeling healthier and the route to achieving the associated positive emotions.

In essence the messages convince us at unconscious to consider "Hey, I am a healthy person, and capable of making healthy decisions." This idea is held 'front of mind' long enough for the individual begins to make healthier decisions more often. The mind has an opportunity to observe these new tendencies, feel good about the choices made, experience the benefits and consciously choose to alter self-perception. There is no stronger psychological principle than Cogito ergo sum - I think therefore I am.

Time Poverty, Reconnecting to Life, Energy and Joy

Regardless of financial status, many people claim to be "time poor." They regularly report not having enough time. To combat this "time poverty" there are some people promoting a "Slow Movement." The core of this endeavor is based on reconnecting with life. People are searching for connections, connections to people, places, and things important to them. The need to be part of something bigger than self, to be connected to all that it means to live, is at the heart of a living a connected life.

Throughout history, lives were interconnected, and in many traditional cultures, they still are. At one time, extended families were common out of necessity and tradition. This developed a generational connectedness. As culture changed, the need to stay as an extended family unit was no longer a necessity. People left home for work or marriage, and created separate lives away from their families.

Lifestyles began to speed up as advances in living made travel and communication more accessible to everyone. The accelerated pace people choose to live, has weakened many deeper connections. Technological advances have also changed how and where people work. In this society, it is possible to be around people, while never making a meaningful connection. In many cities, this is the norm. People shuffle from place to place while never acknowledging the presence of the other. Living fast, creates isolated existences, in areas once shared by family and community.

While technological advances have saved people hours in their day, many use this time to become even busier, and more isolated instead of using it to enrich and enjoy connections in life. People are becoming task-driven instead of relationship driven. It is this ability to stay in fast-forward motion, which leads to overscheduling, stress, and rushing towards the next task. This task-focused rushing, affects all areas of life from eating, family time and work life, to even leisure activity.

The "Slow Movement" is about cultivating a cultural shift towards slowing down and experiencing the simple pleasures of life. Residents of the old South understood this principle. It was customary for Southerners to sit with guests and relax. Nothing had to be done or discussed, they simply passed time together. Even their speech was slower, giving way to the "Southern Drawl." In earlier eras, "slow" was a way of life.

Families and friends regularly gathered for meals and long social visits. Eating was not a task to be hurried. It was a pleasure to enjoy. Conversation did not need an agenda; it was light, easy, and unstructured. No one looked at his or her watch or had to rush, because this was the moment of the day, for which everyone was looking forward.

The simple pleasure of relaxed conversations with people you cared about was recharging to the batteries, it restored balance and provided soul-nurturing connections. When was the last time you made a soul nurturing connection with anyone? Most have squeezed out time for such, in the dogged pursuit of more and faster.

It makes one wonder, if in the pursuit for something more, people have lost touch with what they already had. Today people force themselves and others into whatever their hectic schedule will allow. Following a natural rhythm, and reconnecting with what is important is what the slow movement hopes recapture.

Recognizing the disconnection and the accelerated pace of ones life is an important first step in re-establishing connection and slowing the pace. The goal is to discover how to slow down and still manage personal responsibilities. Essentially, the answer to restoring such balance is to develop mindfulness in daily behaviors, to take time to savor the moment and establish meaningful connection.

The barrier to slow living comes from the chain of behavior that allows you to live fast. Each fast aspect of life is necessary for other fast aspects to happen. Over time, people are conditioned into thinking they need, or even must be fast and have, what the fast life provides. However, deeper examination usually reveals the truth: Connectedness is more valuable than any material possession.

Going from the fast lane to a slower lane, requires downshifting. Downshifting is voluntarily choosing simplicity in all aspects of life. It starts with rethinking priorities and the way one approaches life and the things in it. One step is downsizing, reducing the amount of stuff you have, must take care of, and make payments to keep. It can help to reduce excess responsibility, allowing for the enjoyment of what you still have, in a deeper way.

In the end, each person must decide which is most important, the "fast life" and the stuff it affords, or the "slow life" and the connectedness it provides. In order to cultivate either, you must ensure that it is what you want. From there you can set your compass North, choosing behaviors that will bring you that way of living. When you give your life a compass to follow, you will never get lost.

Health and Fitness, Vitamin A

Hello there,

Are you taking vitamins for granted? Do you know if your body is crying out for a particular vitamin?

Maybe it's time that you take a look at the different types of vitamins and the effect that the lack of anyone of them may have on the body.

To start with, let's have a closer look at vitamin A. We can also look at the source of this vitamin or find out from which foods it can be obtained.

Vitamin A deals with the growth, maturity and proper functioning of the body; both internally and externally. You may guess then, that it has a very important role to play in the in the diet of pregnant women and the development of children. This vitamin is also required throughout life.

Vitamin A is needed for the "epithelial tissue/cells." This tissue forms a major part in the body. It covers the lining of the internal and external surfaces of the body-the skin.

Besides providing an internal and external protective shield or covering for the body, the epithelial cells, produce mucus which keeps the nasal passages, lungs and intestines from drying.

Some other parts of the body involving the epithelial tissue are the interior of the mouth, the stomach and the membranes of the lungs and kidneys. Keep in mind that Vitamin A is required for the proper function of these body parts.

When there is a deficiency of vitamin A, the body system is unable to trigger off many vital activities. The nervous system begins to function poorly. Moreover, sterility may result; and the offspring born during this time, could be a poor specimen. By the way, some authorities on health say, that night blindness is a sign of the lack of Vitamin A.

Some sources of Vitamin A are:

Milk; butter; eggs; herring; and cod liver oil.

Carrots and fresh green vegetables are also sources of Vitamin A.

Of course, Vitamin A is only one of the vital requirements of the body system. However it is very important that we make every effort to take good care of our bodies in the light of what we really know about it.

The truth is, generally speaking, we do not know a lot about our bodies-even though research has enlightened and help us very much in the past and even in the present.

The body is a very complex human machine. But what is good for Harry, may not necessary be good for Jack- except in the cases of basic human requirements that is common to all.

It is easier and less expensive to pay attention to the needs of our bodies. We cannot allow its systems to break down and then try to effect repairs: prevention is still better than cure.

Nevertheless, in spite of our care, there may still be problems with the body for one reason or the other. But at least we will be able to rest comfortably in the fact, that we did what we could; and did not ignore nor neglect it when it asked us for help.

Indeed we have only one body and we need to treat it with the utmost respect and care.Remember our bodies are divinely created. Meanwhile, we can check and see if it's lacking in Vitamin A

Pure Water for Amazing Health

Water is a critical part of our survival. Human beings are made up of 76% water, our blood is 84% water and blood plasma contains 96% water. Water helps to maintain the body's major functions such as elimination of waste and toxins, digestion and circulation. Cell repair and body temperature are so regulated by the amount of water present within the body. Without water, human beings will only live for around 10 days. It is the single most important thing for survival, next to air. The quality of water that we choose to drink is just as important.

The use of chemicals in the industry and agriculture has led to pollution of most water sources around the world. Chemicals and toxins have even been found in the polar icecaps and Arctic Ocean. This has significantly increased the amount of illnesses and diseases around the world as a result.

According to the EPA, there are over 700 chemicals in our drinking water. The interesting fact is that some of the most dangerous chemicals are intentionally added. Chlorine and fluoride are two of the most concerning.

Chlorine is added to water to eliminate dangerous organisms, which can make people ill. A by-product of chlorine is trihalomethanes, which accumulates in the body faster than the body can eliminate it. This build up has been linked to serious diseases such as cancer and can cause damage to the heart, lungs, kidneys and nervous system.

Fluoride was originally added to the drinking water to help reduce the incidence of tooth decay. It also has some devastating side effects such as damage to the heart, brain and kidneys. It has been linked to cancer, osteoporosis and behavioral disorders. The truth is that it makes little difference to tooth decay and the side effects far out way the benefits. Looking after our teeth is as easy as eating a good diet, daily brushing and flossing regularly and checkups at the dentist.

Drink the purest water you can find. There are many different water filters and purification methods available today, which will remove dangerous toxins and chemicals. They are affordable and easy to install. So how much water should you drink a day for great health?

Look to drink half your body weight in ounces, per day. For example, if you weighed 200 pounds, you should drink 100 ounces of water per day. Below is a list converted into kilos and liters. This will help to keep your body functioning beautifully and well hydrated.

100kg - 3.2 liters
90kg - 2.9 liters
80kg - 2.5 liters
70kg - 2.2 liters
60kg - 1.9 liters
50kg - 1.6 liters
40kg - 1.2 liters

The Key to Finding Workout Motivation

If getting into top physical condition was easy, who wouldn't put in the two seconds a day to look amazing and feel amazing? That is exactly the point, it is not really that easy. But that is fine, because in order to make exercise easy, we must understand how to get motivated in order to still workout and look good.

Self motivation is truly the key to leading an amazing life. If you decide to stray away from fitness, you will notice all of the things that you will leave behind. Workouts not only keep you fit, but they also keep your body functioning normally.

Now, despite knowing all of the benefits of working out, we still neglect to make time for working out every day. This is along with the fact that we know all of the benefits. This means that there is truly a self motivation issue that must be solved. Either that or you will find that you are inactive at the gym, afraid to mess up, or just too lazy to work harder.

Furthermore, as time goes on, your passion for working out decreases. This means that your goals will be even harder to stick to later in the year than it is at the beginning. Here are some tips to help make it through the tough times in your weight loss plan.

Getting Motivated for Exercise

There are various ways in which you can get motivated for exercise or working out. One of the best ways to do this is by looking at others around you trying to accomplish the same goal. This will allow you to then ignite your passion towards a similar goal. When you are working out, try to find someone of similar strength to train with. This will help you be more competitive and increase weight faster.

Try to Feel Good

This aspect should always be there no matter if you are working out or not. This will overall make your life more enjoyable. You should understand that some days when you are working out, you will be tired and not performing well. This is when you have to turn your brain off and just push through the pain. Those are the days that make you a better athlete or get you one step closer to your goals.

Give Yourself Credit

In order to ever move forward, you must realize that you have made progress. Ultimately, this is what you are going for, constant progress. I am saying this because when you work out, you will lose considerable weight or put on muscle, whichever your goal is. The thing is, make sure that you reward yourself in whatever way you feel fitting, because you have earned it through all of the hard training.

If you are interested in learning more about strength training, visit Beginners Exercise, my personal website. 7 Reasons To Stop Eating Fast Food

Almost everyone loves fast food. It's tasty, delicious and gives you a quick fix whenever you get hungry. Although it is sold worldwide, only a few really take into consideration the dangers of eating it. For someone like you who is concerned about health, I'm sure you are aware that it is wise to minimize your fast food intake or better yet, stop eating it for good. Do you know why? If not, here are the top seven reasons why you should stop eating it.

1. Poor animal conditions. Animals sourced for the main ingredients of your favorite fast food are frequently kept in poor conditions. They are kept in tight spaces with not enough room for them to even relax. They undergo extreme stress that most of them go crazy and hurt themselves or other animals. Most of them are even slaughtered in inhumane ways.

2. Pumped with medicine. The poor conditions of the animals in captivity cause them to get sick and their dirty surroundings get filled with bacteria. To stop them from getting sick, they are fed with medicine and antibiotics. The worst part is not all of those medicines don't leave the animal's body even after they get processed or cooked.

3. Filled with preservatives. Ever tried the French Fries experiment wherein you put a bunch of French fries bought from your favorite restaurant, put them in a jar, then wait for a week to see if they decompose? If not, you will be surprised that most of those fries do not even rot. That is because of the preservatives put in those foods to prolong their shelf life. It's not even natural or organic anymore.

4. Filled with empty calories. Although it can give you quick relief to hunger, it won't actually give you the nutrients your body needs. It is actually filled with empty calories that will just make you fat. You may have cured your hunger with junk food but you're also making yourself undernourished in the process.

5. Full of sugar. When I say sugar, I mean artificial sweeteners that are actually worse than sugar. Fast food companies use special types of artificial sweeteners partnered with high doses of MSG to increase the flavor of the food. These additives are harmful to the body in the long run and can cause diabetes or even cancer.

6. Bad for the stomach. We all know how important fiber is in maintaining a healthy body. It gets rid of toxins, cholesterol and other harmful stuff in our digestive system. It contains little to no fiber at all. Meaning, going on a heavy fast food diet may lead to serious diseases such as colon cancer.

7. It is addictive. With all those additives and artificial flavorings, it is designed for one thing, to make you crave for more. Fast food instantly becomes a comfort food that is very addictive. We all know what happens when you get addicted to it, you eat more which in turn makes you fat, undernourished and sick.

Sometimes it's okay to give in to these kinds of food once in a while. You can have some like once a week but make sure it's not a lot. But if you really want to stop eating fast food and become healthier, just keep in mind the dangers listed above before taking the first bite. I assure you, you can live without fast food.

"The journey of a thousand pounds begins with a single burger."

Psychotherapy and Spiritual Purification in Dreams

The unconscious mind that produces our dreams is God's mind, truth discovered by Carl Jung, who also discovered the meaning of the dream language, which I have simplified for you. While Jung concentrated his attention on the scientific value of the dream messages, since they work like free psychotherapy for the dreamer, I concentrated my attention on the religious side of this scientific truth.

This is why I understood that we must trust the unconscious mind because it has a divine origin, while we have to be afraid of our own judgment. We are ignorant and we are constantly influenced by our evil and absurd anti-conscience.

We are insensitive and indifferent to what is bad. We have no real feelings. We don't pay attention to our intuition when we believe that our ideas are right. We don't know how to forgive. This is why our world is a living hell where poverty, wars, and numerous crimes kill our population.

Our rationalism doesn't help us find balance. Without sensitivity and goodness we cannot find peace.

The unconscious mind helps you eliminate the evilness and the absurdity you have inherited into your anti-conscience, and attain wisdom. Real wisdom and sanctity are synonyms. When you are wise you are humble, sensitive and sincere, and you always show compassion to everyone.

Sanctity is sound mental health and wisdom. This means that there is a solution for our despair. There is a God, who discovered the power of goodness, and can save us from eternal suffering.

If you don't believe in God you'll have the chance to verify His existence by translating the meaning of your dreams based on my dynamic method of instant dream translation, derived from the complicated method of dream interpretation discovered by Carl Jung. This is the only method that accurately translates God's words in dreams.

The words of the unconscious mind prove their divine origin thanks to their wisdom. Everybody verifies that the unconscious mind knows everything and can solve any kind of problem. The unconscious wisdom goes beyond the imperfect and ignorant human rationalism.

The psychotherapy of the divine unconscious mind works like spiritual purification. You eliminate your sins, learning how to always respect the laws of goodness. You learn how to respect your moral principals and always act like a wise human being. This is how you acquire sound mental health that lasts forever.

The unconscious therapy in dream messages also works like mind empowerment because it helps you develop your intelligence. You can become a genius because you have this potential. The unconscious mind helps you use all of your brain power.

You are also prepared for the continuation of your life after death. Your spirit remains alive. This is why you should care about purifying your spirit instead of satisfying your ego.

Your selfish ego is ignorant and insatiable. It leads you to craziness and despair. All mental illnesses are caused by the absurdity of your anti-conscience, which manipulates your ego. You live in order to eliminate your anti-conscience and your ego, so that you may become a wise, humble, sincere, and calm human being.

Christina Sponias continued Carl Jung's research into the human psyche, discovering the cure for all mental illnesses, and simplifying the scientific method of dream interpretation that teaches you how to exactly translate the meaning of your dreams, so that you can find health, wisdom and happiness.
