External Influence, How It Can Affect Your Healthy Living Programme

You've had your efforts doubted before and you'll be doubted countless times more.

You'll be ridiculed; insulted; despised; disliked; dissuaded and have all manner of challenges thrown your way by others.

It's the manner in which you treat these people that will determine how you deal with
your situation.

Just how do you deal with these people when they persistently try to drag down you and everything you're trying to do?

The answer is simple. They are not there to be dealt with; they are there to be accepted.

Don't waste your precious positive energy on disliking them and attracting negativity.

Try to understand them.

The only difference between what's real in your mind and what's real in the physical world is direct action and the unwavering knowledge that it will carry you through to the desired result.

You must focus on finding solutions to your nutritional and physical obstacles as they arise and stop perceiving them as problems.

Problems are the past; solutions are the future.

You must develop a mind-set I call "instinctive" mode. A frame of mind where we think only of the end result of whatever you're trying to accomplish, and bypass thoughts of anything else in relation to that goal.

Do not give anyone the satisfaction of viewing you as being anything other than the stellar and infinitely valuable individual you truly are.

Never let your standards fall below their absolute pinnacle.

They are worth every inch of the will power it takes to uphold them.

Draw from your best friends or even that one person who serves to sustain your sanity when times are tough.

This person may drive you to distraction at times and make you wonder why you still entertain the thought of their company, but they will have an important place in your development and overcoming challenges.

The "best" people in your life; the ones you're drawn to the most, can serve as a safety net during a free-fall.

They may not be able to defy gravity, but they can still intervene and serve to empower, protect, and inspire you, while forming an unconditional friendship that will endure.

"Be persistent"

You will benefit from developing the ability to be relentlessly persistent with the ability to remain resolute in those situations from which others would flee.

It's the ability to uphold your ideals and values regardless of whatever outside influences try to deflect you that will ultimately serve to deliver your success in every task you dare yourself to undertake.

"Be selfish"

Def.: Selfish - "Concerned chiefly or only with oneself"

There is nothing wrong with being selfish at times when the word is stripped to nothing but its definition, as opposed to the many negative connotations modern society has given it.

Being selfish is as vital an asset to not only your success and happiness, but also that of the many people you care for and who care for you.
