When you are sick, in pain, emotionally distraught or are dealing with a difficult to diagnose condition, you want help. Many of us today are looking for alternatives to augment conventional medicine for aid in healing. If you consider working with an intuitive health reader, there is just so much that you can learn from a website or printed materials. Though this research is a great way to start the winnowing process and should be in your plan of action, there is no substitute for person-to-person contact. It is just as important to vet an intuitive reader, as it is any health care provider. This is a person that you are considering allowing into a very personal area of your life. It is crucial to find someone who is sensitive, compassionate and honorable.
The interview process need not be intimidating. If you have done your due diligence in terms of research, you are now prepared to interview one or two intuitive readers. Creating a list of questions beforehand is a good way to prepare. Here are a few suggestions that can help complete the picture you are forming of your prospective reader.
• Does the practitioner perform the reading in person, over the phone or at a distance? Respect each reader's way of working. Methodologies differ from one practitioner to another.
• How will the reader report to you? Do they report during the reading? Do they generate a report to give you after the reading is completed? What is included in the report?
• What information does the reader need from you before the reading? Do they need a lot of information about your concerns or conditions, or do they just want the basics, i.e. your name and location
• In their report, will the reader acknowledge what they previously knew about you in addition to reporting the information they garnered during the reading?
• Does the reader promise to perform the reading only after you have given express permission to proceed? In my opinion, an ethical reader will only read individuals who have consented to having their energy field accessed. It is also a principled practice to ask animals at the beginning of the reading if they are comfortable with the reader's energetic presence.
• Is the reader available for further discussion of the issues addressed in the initial session? Will additional expenses apply? It is reasonable to levy charges for further readings.
As you speak to prospective practitioners, pay close attention to personality clues, tone of voice and manner during the interview. The following tendencies will help indicate if you have found the reader for you:
• You get a sense that the reader welcomes an interview.
• The reader is willing to spend time talking to you; and is truly interested in your well-being.
• The reader does not ask you for a wealth of information before you have agreed to engage them, but is happy to answer any questions you have about their skill. Remember, this is your information-gathering venture to gain insight into the practitioner.
These are just a few suggestions to implement in your search for an honorable intuitive practitioner that will hopefully inspire your own list of questions and give you confidence in conducting an interview.
I wish you good health and blessings on your journey.
